Two of the UK’s largest property events have been brought together thanks to a deal announced this week.
APITS – the company which organises the A Place in the Sun event – has acquired the Property Investor Show from its organiser, Property Investor Media.
So next year’s A Place in the Sun Live, taking place in London in April and Brimingham’s NEC next September, will include the Property Investor show with its distinct branding, floorplan and seminar theatre.
APITS chief executive Andy Bridge says: “Staging events does not get any easier and we are not the first to recognise the clear economies in running two events in one space.
“We have competed with Property Investor across the years and share some exhibitors, but the combined client base and audience create a strong opportunity to coalesce and develop.”
Property Investor Media managing director Nick Clark adds: “In the post-Covid environment, our exhibitors have been asking for added value to boost their exhibition ROI, primarily in the form of larger visitor attendance numbers, but also the opportunity to engage with an audience beyond London and the Southeast.”
A Place in the Sun Live takes place four times in 2027; Manchester Central in February, Excel London in April, the NEC Birmingham in September and the RDS Dublin in October.
The Excel London and NEC Birmingham events will each include the Property Investor Show.
