Guaranteed rent provider Apex Housing Solutions has launched a new Golden Handshake campaign for landlords.
Its limited-time incentive offers landlords £1,000 for every property they sign onto a three-year guaranteed rent agreement during September and October 2025.
Unlike capped referral schemes, Apex’s offer is unlimited. Whether a landlord signs and hands over one property or ten, they will receive £1,000 per unit – with payments released after the third month of tenancy.
The initiative comes as the the Renters’ Reform Bill is set to receive Royal Assent, removing fixed term tenancies and ending no-fault evictions.

Founded in 2008, Apex said it has paid out more than £50m in rent to landlords over the past five years alone.
The Golden Handshake is open to all direct landlords with properties in London who sign new 3-year agreements between 1 September and 31 October 2025.
