A lettings agency founder with 30 years experience is setting up a consultancy for landlords and other lrental sector figures.
And she proposes to charge less than the price of a coffee per day.
Julie Ford is a member of Zoopla’s lettings advisory board and currently owns a holiday let business in France. She has previously managed a 500-unit lettings book and has experience working for Citizens Advice and charities.
Now she says her new no-nonsense consultancy – on offer to agents, landlords and other property professionals – is “designed to cut through legal confusion and deliver clear, actionable guidance.” It will be available six days a week and costs from £1.64p a day.
She already has some industry organisations as customers, including CoHo, ResiSure, Landlord Licensing & Defence, and Girls in Property.
“Advice shouldn’t be trapped behind hefty membership fees – it should be easily and affordably accessible. I want to improve the standard of advice across the industry, one conversation at a time” she says.
Ford, who recently recorded a podcast with MoneySavingExpert’s Martin Lewis, adds: “People don’t need more noise. They need clarity, confidence, and someone who understands the realities of this industry from the ground up.”
